Welcome to Russellville Sparks

Church Nursery

Our nursery gives children the opportunity to grow physically and spiritually in a loving and caring environment.

What to Bring – When packing your child's diaper bag, you should include the following items:

Two or three diapers

Pacifier or another security item should your child need it

A complete change of clothes should this be necessary

A bottle or cup of water, juice, milk or formula

All of your child's belongings should be labeled with their name.

Upon Your Arrival:

You will be greeted by one of our loving ministry volunteers who will assist you with signing your child in. Parents should inform the nursery caregiver of any allergies, feeding/sleeping times or other special needs that will help us in caring for your child.  If you are needed at any time during the service, you will be immediately contacted.

Classroom Structure:
During your child’s time in the nursery, he or she will be given a snack, have time for play and fun, and experience learning-based videos.

Snacks:
Snacks are served around 11:00 am during the morning service. They consist of goldfish, cheerios or vanilla wafers.  Please inform a ministry volunteer of any allergies.

Checking on Your Child:
Parents may check on your child at any time. We do ask that you do so discreetly as to not disrupt ministry activities or upset your child.

Picking up Your Child:
We ask that the same person (parent or guardian) drop-off and pick-up your child.  Please make sure that you have all your child's belongings (coats, papers, bags, etc.).

Your Child's Health:
We are pleased to operate a well-baby nursery. For the well being of other children and our workers, we ask that you not place your child in the nursery if any of the following symptoms are present.

A fever within the past 24 hours

       Discolored drainage from the nose

       Vomiting/diarrhea within past 24 hours

Any symptoms of childhood diseases: measles, mumps, etc.

       A sore throat and/or a persistent cough

       Unexplained rash or skin infections

Pink eye or other eye infection

Thank you for helping to keep our nursery a happy and healthy place for every child!
